Zealong grows on New Zealand's only working tea estate, a certified organic patch of Waikato planted with Taiwanese tea bushes back in 1996. Not the first place you'd look for good oolong, and yet here it is.
Lightly rolled and briefly roasted, this certified organic oolong pours a golden yellow cup with sweet, toasty notes and a touch of floral. Mild astringency, with a herbaceous, fruit-kissed finish.
