Tea Atelier - Bamboo Tea Tray

A traditional companion for the Gong Fu Cha ritual, where hot water is poured generously — to warm the pot, rinse the leaves, and coax each infusion — and needs somewhere to go. This two-part tray does exactly that: a slatted bamboo top holds your teapot, gaiwan, and cups elegantly at the surface, while the black plastic reservoir beneath quietly collects any overflow. Pour, rinse, and re-steep freely — the tray handles the rest.

A practical, understated centrepiece for a home Gong Fu setup, and equally at home for casual loose-leaf sessions where you want the freedom to work with hot water without worrying about your table.

Material: Natural bamboo top, plastic reservoir base.

Care Instruction, bamboo needs a little attention:

• Never soak the tray in water. Prolonged contact will warp and crack the bamboo over time.
• Wash gently under running water. A soft cloth or brush is enough. No harsh detergents.
• Dry immediately with a clean cloth to remove excess water.
• Let it dry completely in the open air before storing.

Treated well, the bamboo will darken and deepen in character over the years — a natural patina that quietly marks the many teas shared over it.
