Pu Erh Mini Tea Bricks
Pu Erh Mini Tea Bricks
Tea Total
- Black Tea
- Yunnan, China
A treasured tea from Yunnan — the ancestral homeland of the tea plant itself — sourced from the Ran Shai tea garden. Pu-erh is one of the few teas prized for its ability to improve with age, and its history is inseparable from the ancient Tea Horse Road, where compressed cakes and bricks travelled thousands of kilometres over mountain passes, matured slowly along the way. This blend follows the same tradition in miniature: each small brick a perfectly portioned serving, easy to pack, easy to store, and beautiful to break apart at the moment of brewing.
A grounding, characterful cup — deeply satisfying at any hour, and traditionally enjoyed after meals for its warming, settling nature. One brick will happily make a full litre of tea — enough for four to five generous cups.
The liquor pours a deep, mahogany brown, releasing a rich, earthy aroma with notes of damp forest floor and aged wood. On the palate, a smooth, mellow body carries through — earthy and rounded, softly sweet on the finish, and remarkably clean.
