Ceramic Matcha Whisk Stand (Naoshi)

A small ceramic holder designed to protect and prolong the life of your bamboo whisk (chasen). After each use, the whisk is placed on the stand tines-down, so it dries evenly and slowly regains its original bell shape. The fine bamboo prongs stay curved and springy, ready to whisk the next bowl to a perfect froth.

Without a stand, the wet tines tend to collapse inward or warp as they dry, shortening the whisk's life considerably. A small piece of teaware, but one that quietly earns its place beside the chawan.

Material: White ceramic.

Care: Rinse with warm water after each use, dry with a soft cloth. Handle gently — ceramic can chip if knocked.
