Tea 101 : The Five Types
Tea 101 : The Five Types
Ever wondered what actually separates a white tea from a black tea, when they both come from the very same plant? Join us for a guided tasting through white, green, oolong, and black tea, plus one delicious impostor (herbal infusion, we see you) that isn't technically tea at all.
Limited seats, only 8 spots available.
Reserve your ticket on our website or in store.
What To Expect
Over 90 minutes, you'll taste your way through five distinct teas, white, green, oolong, black, and a playful fifth we won't spoil here, while learning what actually separates one from another. You'll leave with a few take-home samples so you can continue your journey in the comfort of your home.
A Few Practical Notes
This is a tasting-focused session, so we'd gently suggest going easy on strong perfume or cologne beforehand, since it can affect how the teas smell and taste. We'd also suggest eating something before you arrive, tea is best enjoyed on a full stomach, and skipping spicy food beforehand, since it can affect how you taste the tea.
All the teas are genuinely caffeinated so if you're caffeine-sensitive, that's worth keeping in mind.
